From Whitefish go north on highway 93 (toward Eureka and the Canadian border) for about 10.5 miles and watch for the 139 MILEPOST. 6/10 of a mile beyond that will be "LUPFER" Road (sign sort of tilted on the RIGHT and has a number of reflectors on it.) Blink your directionals well in advance since many folks don't know there's a road here.

After turning right up the hill, you will cross a double set of railroad tracks. Continue slowly on the winding county road (the pavement ends shortly after the tracks). There will be a couple minor roads and driveways along the way and some turns, but always stay on the main road, to the right. After 2 ½ miles there will be a very large home on the left and shortly beyond you will find a small group of mailboxes on both sides. Stay RIGHT at the fork here and you will go straight ahead and down a hill. The road becomes private, and narrows. (We live at the end of this road --exactly 1/2 mile from the mailboxes.) Always stay to the right. You should see a sign or two with our number on it: 1165.

Just before coming to our place there will be a short but steep up-hill. If it is dark, there will be some lights that should come on automatically. There will be a shop/garage on the left and the house on the right (both cedar) - the shop/garage roof is red, and the house roof blue. You can park in the middle of the road. This is the end of the road, which loops around the garage.
